The Chalet La Mur is located on the calm edge of an holiday resort in the style of an Alpine village, yet in walking distance to the cable car to the skiing slopes. It accomodates up to 4 persons on 70m2 in two bedrooms with double beds.
It features a cosy living room with open kitchen, a romantic oven, two balconies, a large terrace with outdoor whirlpool, a private garden and parking space for two cars, a skishoe-dryer and a little ski storage.
In the snowy yet sunny winter the area invites you to ski and snowboard (Chalet La Mur ist situated at the foot of the Kreischberg, the venue of Sbowboard World Championships), while spring, summer and fall present you with blooming mountain meadows and green forests, a nearby golfclub, and on top of all one of the most beautiful bycicle pathes alongside the river Mur. There is the possibility to rent bycicles nearby.
You will find a supermarket in the Village St. Georgen (1 km) and a little bakery rigth next to the resort. Three restaurants are in walking distance. In the winter a large sports store next to the cable car station provides you with all equipment you might need as well as the possibility to rent a ski storage.
A short ride with either your car or the nostalgic railway situated a few meters from the resort brings you to the lovely medieval town Murau with its impressive castle, as well a to numerous other sights to see and activities to explore.
